The organization envisions a world in which universities – students, faculty, and leaders – acknowledge, deeply embed, and seamlessly integrate the arts in the pursuit of basic knowledge and in everyday practice.
Shepherd University
Shepherd University is a liberal arts institution located one hour from Washington, D.C., in historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Linda began as an Assistant Professor of English at Shepherd in 1991 and left in 2006 as a tenured Professor of English at Shepherd University. While at Shepherd, Linda was named the West Virginia Professor of the Year.
University of Denver
Founded in 1864—just a few years after the city of Denver itself was founded—the University of Denver is one of the country’s premier private universities. Linda was on the faculty of the University Writing Program from 2006 to 2009.
