Linda’s post, “A Style Sheet: What It Is and Why Your Project Needs One,” was published on the Boulder Editors blog.
Linda was an excellent editor for my forthcoming book Running After, to be published by the University of Arizona Press’s Critical Green Engagement Series. She was able to help me see the forest – as well as the trees – as I tacked back and forth between the overall messages I sought to convey in each chapter and the book as a whole and the finer-tuned details that were needed to make these messages come alive. Linda was a sage advisor, an expert eye, and a cheerleader when I needed it most. Throughout our nearly two-year process of working together, she was consistently professional, organized, cheerful, and honest. She also checked in “just the right amount” to keep the project moving. I would highly recommend her expert abilities to academics, nonacademics, and those of us “in between” who want to bring their writing into the world.
